Service Description

Our in-person appointments take place in the basement suite at 1923 Graveley Street (Victoria + First Ave). It's in East Van, right off the Drive! Near the 20 bus, 99 bus, and Skytrain. Swetha is a person-centered therapist and counsellor who believes in human potential. She approaches the therapeutic space from a variety of experiences gained through her personal and professional life. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC - BCACC), Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT - CATA), and a Conflict Management practitioner, and a licensed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner. Swetha uses Art Therapy, Talk Therapy, and EDMR to work through different issues. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapeutic intervention that uses bilateral stimulation to treat trauma and affects of past memories. -- ABOUT SWETHA Swetha is a trained Bharata Natyam dancer (Indian classical dance), and has a passionate interest in Ayurveda, meditation, and indigenous therapeutic practices from Sri Lanka and India (South Asia). She has a keen interest in decolonizing therapeutic space and is continually striving to create safe places and practices through and within her work. Swetha is a registered counsellor, and these therapeutic sessions can be covered by most extended health plans. Due to this, you will be invoiced for your session, and handle payment directly with her. Reciepts will be provided after payment for your extended medical claim. Swetha will send you an invoice, and handle all of this directly with you.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours in advance for 1:1 bookings, and TWO MONTHS in advance for classes, workshops, and events.
