Some people yes, some people no. It depends on the person. Most people know that I do something in that field and will just ask questions until they find out. In a random ask-a-stranger-20-questions kind of style.

Now when I see that happening, I just tell folx right away so I can avoid the question peppering and get to the heart of their question. I won't answer questions on the side of the street necessarily - we've been over that - but I will tell them what I do, where I work, give them my contact, and welcome them to get a hold of me when they need it. There is a certain loss of privacy, but most people are quite respectful of my personal space once they know how to get a hold of me.

For most people, it is their first time. I promise to go slow, explain everything, be gentle, and thorough. And most importantly, go at your pace. One of the biggest things I noticed coming into tarot was how many people wanted it but then didn't know about it. Folks wanted to go deep, but they didn't know the cards, so they're looking at the books and - honestly that's why I'm here. Tarot is incredible, but you need a guide. I was lucky to come into tarot very naturally and intuitively and have good guides along the way that really helped me see patterns I was stuck in that I couldn't see on my own, and I want to be that person for you.

True fact. Im more interested in using tarot to get at root issues in people's lives over fortune telling or a game of 20 questions with a psychic. I still do that work in session, but the purpose of it is to get at root issues / questions / concerns in people's lives and to bring them into a sense of their personal power.

Tarot is an incredible anchor to hold down and reflect the energy of the seeker while doing this kind of deep work. Tarot is much, much more than a spiritual game.
