Super long story that I'll tell you all the details of in person if you ask me nicely... In a nugget, at the now defunct signal and noise festival run by @vivomediaarts after a panel talk @thriftmystic @prophecysun and I were talking at ... I think either 2009 or 2010. I can't remember whether it was 9 or 10 years ago. Curated by the wonderful Amy Kazymerchyk. It was the Portland Collective Tarot Deck. Such a gift to my soul ❤️

Yeah. Sometimes decks come to me because their tenders cant give them enough attention, or it's not the right fit, or it's just not feeling right anymore. I will take them, cleanse them. Some stay with me forever, some find new homes.

I feel like the decks are so personal. I might take pictures of a card or two, but in the end it feels like a "feel cute now, might delete later" image because truthfully it feels like too much info for the internet + I don't want to dishonor the deck.

As someone who shares a lot about their personal life on the internet, this might seem strange to people,

But I am not the decks. The decks have their own beingness and if i want to keep the magical collaboration going, some respects need to be given. They are ritual objects.
