For those of you who have come to have a session with me, you may wonder why I always give or offer earplugs as part of your reading aftercare.

Well the world is so loud, and the reading is all about internal reflection and growth. Sometimes when you're integrating it's just nice to lower the sounds of the outside world and buffer the onslaught of stimulation of the city to be able to quieten yourself to listen to your inner worlds and sensations.

I feel like the decks are so personal. I might take pictures of a card or two, but in the end it feels like a "feel cute now, might delete later" image because truthfully it feels like too much info for the internet + I don't want to dishonor the deck.

As someone who shares a lot about their personal life on the internet, this might seem strange to people,

But I am not the decks. The decks have their own beingness and if i want to keep the magical collaboration going, some respects need to be given. They are ritual objects.

It's a but late, but Happy Yule everyone! The wheel turns. This is the darkest time of the year where we give each other the gift of our light, our spark, our joy to one another.

I know it's not what most of the world celebrates, but it's what I celebrate.

Give the gift of you #noncommodity

It's also said that "when the sky is darkest men see the stars" Ralph Waldo Emerson

And I like to think about that.

From a mystic Christian persepective, it's when the saviour of the world is come - or from a more witchy perspective when you meditate on your hopes + dreams and plant your seeds of intention for the new year.

You've been through the heart of fall and said goodbye at samhain to the things that hold you back.

In Yuletime you meditate on what's left - after you let go of what's not needed, you inner spooks and boos after letting them get big at Samhain - what's left? What's your dream?
