When I made my tarot sign, Jason took my font amd cut it out of metal and also cardboard!!!! I love cardboard it's fun to make anything out of!!! Paintings, forts, silkscreens, signs... it's so utilitarian, overlooked, humble, and perfect. This is the most delicate tarot thing I have in my cave and I love it 💓💓

I made this analog TV Cozy back in 2010 or 2011 when I was on a road trip to Portland for Open Engagement (OE).

OE is an art conference for social practice artists, and as a result is very high in social interactions, and I burned out half way thru and hit the wall.

So I took a day off, binge watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and made this multi colored soft sculpture that would wrap around the ancient TV that I was watching it on at The Artistery, the artist collective space I was staying at. The TV Cozy stayed on that TV for my time there, and now watches over me at the cave.

I guess once a punk always a punk. But I was never a hard punk. More like teddy bear soft core asking a lot of questions and skipping more school than attending while keeping good grades and drawing emotional trees in heavy charcoal obsessively and going to shows. But yeah the DIY is in me.
