why do you use slang?

I think sometimes folks forget that tarot readers are normal people. Magic / flow / spirit / your touch point whatever people want to call it / their experience happens to each person in their own way and it looks different.

I use slang because I worked with kids for a long time and tbh slang explains my mood in a way that works for me, so I use it. I also like poetry and words, but I tend not to engage that way here because when I get in that zone I will describe things from 13 different angles and get really into things, and this is Instagram.

I'm just trying to give you a snapshot of who I am and how I hold space.

Some of my favorite trades have been when folks promo'd for me, because I absolutely hate doing it. Word of mouth saves lives.

do ppl just KNOW you're a reader?

Some people yes, some people no. It depends on the person. Most people know that I do something in that field and will just ask questions until they find out. In a random ask-a-stranger-20-questions kind of style.

Now when I see that happening, I just tell folx right away so I can avoid the question peppering and get to the heart of their question. I won't answer questions on the side of the street necessarily - we've been over that - but I will tell them what I do, where I work, give them my contact, and welcome them to get a hold of me when they need it. There is a certain loss of privacy, but most people are quite respectful of my personal space once they know how to get a hold of me.
